Please read these Terms carefully before using the SimpleStorage platform.
By accessing or using the SimpleStorage platform ('Platform'), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ('Terms'). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users, including storage facility operators, their staff, and any authorized representatives.
SimpleStorage provides an all-in-one software platform for independent self-storage operators, including but not limited to: facility management, tenant relationship management (CRM), digital lease management, accounting, AI-assisted communications, collections automation, and a tenant self-service portal. The Platform is provided as a subscription-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product.
To use the Platform, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
Access to the Platform requires an active subscription. Subscription fees are based on your property size and are billed on a monthly or annual basis as agreed during signup. Fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. SimpleStorage reserves the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' written notice. Payment processing is handled through our Finix partnership. You retain full control over your payout schedule. All processing rates are disclosed transparently before you activate payment collection.
SimpleStorage offers a free white-glove data migration service to help you onboard from your existing software or records. By providing your tenant data for migration, you represent that you have the legal right to share and transfer this data. SimpleStorage will treat your tenant data with the same confidentiality obligations described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not: (a) violate any applicable laws or regulations; (b) use the Platform to harass, abuse, or harm any person; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform; (d) reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from the Platform; (e) use the Platform for any fraudulent or deceptive purpose.
The AI Communications add-on uses artificial intelligence to handle inbound tenant calls and messages. You are responsible for configuring the AI appropriately for your facility. SimpleStorage provides tools for you to define what the AI handles and what it escalates. You acknowledge that AI responses may not always be perfect and agree to maintain appropriate human oversight of escalated interactions.
The Platform and all its content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by SimpleStorage and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform solely for your internal business operations during the term of your subscription.
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information disclosed by the other party in connection with this agreement. This obligation survives termination of these Terms.
The Platform is provided 'as is' and 'as available.' SimpleStorage makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SimpleStorage shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Platform in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. If you cancel your subscription, your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. SimpleStorage may terminate your account immediately if you materially breach these Terms. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
SimpleStorage may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
